Toast

One argument: whether to get out of bed. There’s a point where it outruns anything she can do on camera. That's where I came in.

The film was written with the frontal lobe switched off — first thought, no editing, keep going. Illustrating that would have meant thinking about it, which was the one thing I wouldn’t do. So I made the images the same way the words were made.

For sixty seconds the film stops being about seeing her and becomes the argument itself.
